Beige (Jerry) Jin

Hi! I’m Jerry, a first-year Ph.D. student in Computer Science at Stanford University advised by Prof. Leila Wehbe. Previously, I was a research assistant in the Machine Learning Department at Carnegie Mellon University. I hold an M.A. in Statistics from UC Berkeley, as well as a B.S. in Psychology and a B.A. in Philosophy from Peking University.

My general research interests lie in Cognitive Computational Neuroscience. Currently, I’m focusing on encoding models for MEG-fMRI fusion in naturalistic experiments. During undergrad, I’ve had the priviledge of working with Prof. Huihui Zhang and Prof. Huan Luo on serial dependence. I also had a wonderful experience collaborating with Prof. Michael Kahana, where we developed CMR-IA, a model of memory for items and associations.
