Beige (Jerry) Jin
Hi! I’m Jerry Jin, a research associate in the Machine Learning Department at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU). I hold an M.A. in Statistics from UC Berkeley, as well as a B.S. in Psychology and a B.A. in Philosophy from Peking University (PKU).
My general research interests lie in Cognitive Computational Neuroscience and computational approaches in Psychology. Currently, I’m fortunate to work with Prof. Leila Wehbe, focusing on the intergration of MEG and fMRI using machine learning in naturalistic experiments. At PKU, I’ve had the priviledge of working with Prof. Huihui Zhang and Prof. Huan Luo on serial dependence. I also had a wonderful experience collaborating with Prof. Michael Kahana in CML Lab at UPenn, where we developed CMR-IA, a model of memory for items and associations.
I am actively seeking PhD opportunities starting in Fall 2026.
